Industrial Solutions - Pallet Racking

RHP Racking Systems comprise a choice of frames and pallet support beams which are precisely selected and combined to meet the load requirements of any storage application, safely, efficiently and cost-effectively.

A wide range of configurations offers an excellent choice for storage applications using the same basic components, and specialised requirements, for example the storage of drums, coils, or even rolls of carpet, can be accommodated.

In areas where space is at premium, racking can offer unique solutions - bulk storage, mobile and high rise installations can be achieved with efficient storage design.

XL Adjustable Beam Pallet RackingAdjustable Beam Pallet Racking

- Available in 'wide', 'narrow' or 'very narrow' aisle formats, XL Pallet Racking is the most popular and widely used of all heavy-duty storage systems.

- It is easily installed and highly versatile, with direct accessibility to each individual pallet.

- All kinds of palletised and non-palletised loads can be accommodated.

- Racking can be adapted to cater for changes in the type or size of goods stored.

- The choice of wide or narrow aisle format depends on many considerations, including the type of goods stored, speed of throughput, accessibility, type of trucks in use and, most importantly, the amount of floor space vailable for storage.

XL Drive in & drive through pallet rackingDrive-in Racking

- Drive-in racking is suited to environments where selectivity and stock rotation are not critical factors.

- Drive-in is an ideal economical bulk storage system, and provides an efficient replacement to the potentially inefficient practice of 'block stacking' goods.

- This is a 'first in, last out' system, requiring minimum use of gangways and provides excellent utilisation of the space available.

- Pallets are stored on runners in the depth of the racking and trucks enter the structure to deposit or retrieve loads.

- Benefits include 60%-80% increase in storage capacity through the reduction in the number of aisles required.

- Offers the capability to fully utilise the working height of a building.

XL Double-deep pallet rackingDouble-Deep Pallet Racking

- Ideal for use in schemes where stock rotation is not a key factor.

- Enables pallets to be stored two deep in the racking structure, thus increasing storage capacity.

- Standard trucks can be adapted to load and retrieve pallets from the racking structure.

- Space saving solution.

XL Live storage rackingLive Storage

- Order picking or 'live storage' systems are used for high-density storage of products which need to be stored and dispatched with a first-in, first-out capability.

- Pallet live storage combines good space utilisation with automatic stock rotation for palletised loads, making it particularly effective in the food industry.

- It is also effective where a high number of product varieties are to be stored.

- Pallets are loaded onto inclined 'lanes' of gravity rollers. When a load is taken from the picking face, the next pallet rolls into position, with replenishment stock loaded at the opposite (upper) end of the lane. Live Storage

- Movement of the pallets within the lane is regulated by a series of speed controllers.

- 'Carton' live storage, for hand loaded items, operates on a similar principle, with stock loaded and picked from inclined roller lanes tailored to the size and weight of goods stored.

- Order picking time and errors are minimised with goods presented precisely at the picking face, providing an excellent means of storage in fast-moving assembly, packing and despatch areas.

- When required, electronic picking systems can be incorporated.

XL Mobile pallet rackingMobile Pallet Racking

- Pallet racking can be mounted onto mobile bases to further increase storage capacity.

- As only one access aisle is required, storage capacity can be increased by up to 50%.

- Ideal for use in cold stores, to keep the storage cube to a minimum.

XL Push-back pallet rackingPush Back Pallet Racking

- Push-back racking allows pallets of varying types and sizes to be stored together, two, three or even four deep, with quick and easy access.

- Pallets are loaded in sequence onto wheeled carriers or cradles of varying heights, which are 'pushed-back' on inclined steel channels to utilise the full depth of the racking. As pallets are retrieved, those remaining roll forward into position at the picking face.

- This live storage system saves time, because trucks do not have to enter the racking for storage and retrieval, and also space as floor area for only one loading or picking face is required.

- Push-back is suitable for all types of pallet load, including in some cases inferior quality pallets, and is particularly suited to operations where space utilisation is paramount - in cold stores, for example.
